You can make this recipe in bigger batches to use at multiple meals. That will save you energy and time the next times. Only try to resist the urge and eat too many of them at once because they are sooo yummy! Store them dry and airtight in a jar or container and user in small quantities like a handful/35 g.
Ingredients:
- 100g Almonds
- 1 tsp. maple syrup
- a few drops or 1/4 tsp. liquid smoke
- 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika powder
- 1/4-1/2 tsp. black pepper, crushed
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- A pinch of (smoked) salt
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 200°C or 400°F and line a oven tray with a baking sheet/paper.
- Add all ingredients to a little container with a lid, close it and shake it until everything is nicely combined and coated. Or use a bowl and spoon to combine everything. Then spread the coated almonds out evenly on the baking tray.
- Roast the almonds in the oven for about 8 minutes. After 8 minutes, stir them up a little with a spoon and roast for another few minutes. Keep an eye on them because they can burn quickly.
- When ready, let them cool down and chop up roughly to use them as a topping. Enjoy!
