This recipe takes about 10 minutes to make and serves 2 people.
It’s plant-based/vegan and mainly whole foods, it’s also gluten free (if using gluten free oats) and can be made soy free.
It is definitely another one of my all time favorite breakfast recipes! It is refreshing but filling at the same time & easy to make too! You can also take it with you as a lunch, but I would recommend putting the dry ingredients in a separate little container and mix it in in with the rest when you are about to eat, otherwise the dry ingredients soak up the liquid from the yoghurt and make the whole dish more on the dry and thick side. But maybe that’s what you prefer, you do you! Now let’s get to the recipe!
Bowl ingredients:
- 200g green & blue grapes
- 200g strawberries
- 35g almonds
- 2 tbsp hemp seeds
- 2 tsp chia seeds or broken flaxseed
- 2 tbsp oat bran
- 1 cup 100g roled oats
Banana milk ingredients:
- 350ml unsweetened soy milk
- 1-1,5 (frozen) ripe banana
- Pinch of ground Bourbon vanilla
- 1 tsp Ceylon cinnamon
Directions:
- Wash and cut up the strawberries into little pieces and the grapes into halves.
- Chop up the almonds roughly.
- Add all the bow ingredients to a bowl and stir together.
- For the banana milk add all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth, then pour in to the bowls as well.
- If you like you can set some of the fruit and almonds aside and use it to top of your breakfast bowl just because it looks nice.
Almost to easy to make a recipe for it right? But it’s a favorite of mine and I guess you will love it too! And who doesn’t love easy recipes? You can of course switch up the types of fruit you use for some variation! Enjoy!
